The onset of Russia\u2019s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022 had a profound impact on the development of Ukrainian culture and literature. Today, literature serves both to reveal trauma and to document the social and cultural transformations that society experiences during times of crisis. Ukrainian scholars contribute to this issue by analyzing the war from within, focusing on the ongoing processes unfolding in literature and culture. As noted by editors Olha Voznyuk and Kristina Vorontsova, the contributions offer a body of knowledge that explores wartime experiences and amplifies diverse narrative perspectives, reflecting the complex interplay between collective and individual trauma. Finally, the issue addresses how the war and its dramatic episodes are perceived and narrated across different contexts, including the academic environment, thereby providing a multifaceted perspective on conflict, memory, and identity.<\/p>\n
